Spicy Vegan Aioli
We use this tasty versatile sauce on everything! It’s great on tacos, pizza, sandwiches, burgers, as a dipping sauce for fries, etc. It’s a savoury creamy aioli that’s easy to make and compliments many dishes.
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup vegenaise (or other vegan mayo, homemade vegan mayo)
2 tsp lime or lemon juice
1 clove garlic, pressed or minced
2 - 3 tsp hot sauce of choice
1 tsp agave syrup (or maple syrup)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
METHOD:
1 - Mix all ingredients in a small bowl or a glass jar. It should taste pretty darn good, but adjust to your taste preference: add more hot sauce if you want it spicier, more salt or pepper if you think it needs it, more agave if you think it’s too tart/spicy, etc.
Makes: 1/2 - 3/4 cup
